Hello Everybody!
I wanted to send an email to all the brothers and sisters in regards to Uncle Don’s memorial party. It was originally set for September 28th; however, a good number of you guys already have plans for that day. Seeing that the Creany’s arranged last year, and we all decided to make this a yearly tribute to Uncle Don, this year is our turn… It’s the Sheridan’s year to plan the celebration. We will take turns every other year with our cousins for this responsibility. Last year’s party was a great celebration. A few of the Sheridan families were there to celebrate and all of the Creany’s (except for 1 out of state sibling) attended in honor of Uncle Don. I figured the best solution for a greater number in attendance would be to simply change the date to September 7th. I’m pretty sure, and hope, this will allow a greater number of us brothers and sisters to come and celebrate. I’m excited to party in honor of Uncle Don and I hope to have everybody there celebrating with me.
Christine and Megan plan to prepare all the food and set up for the party. They insist that they want to and look forward to making a nice spread of food. I will enclose an attachment of the menu. If possible, I was hoping that all the brothers and sisters could send a minimal donation of $30.00 to lighten the financial load off of Christine, Megan, and me. Any leftover moneys will be divided equally and returned to all of you.
The only other issue that needs covered is beverages. I think the easiest way to handle drinks would be for everyone to bring their favorite beverages, such as soda, beer, wine, or bottled water. Please just bring enough to share with The Creany’s.
I’m excited, and a little anxious, to hear back from all of you. If anybody has any ideas or questions, please drop me email or give us a call. The Creany’s did an excellent job last year… Let’s show ‘em The Sheridan’s partying ability!!!
